Mark Harrod website launched

Local sporting goods manufacturer, Mark Harrod launched their new website today.  The site, developed by Juiced Media allows Mark Harrod products to be showcased and sold online.

Mark Harrod Ltd. is a manufacturer and supplier of high quality sports equipment direct to schools, colleges, local authorities, contractors and sports clubs of all sizes.

The company offers an extensive range of competitively priced equipment which includes football goals, rugby posts, hockey goals, badminton and netball posts, nets, balls, bats, racquets and training equipment.

The company manufactures and sells the popular “Mark Harrod Touchline Shelter”

A wide selection of specialist products designed for use on synthetic surfaces are available, ranging from self-weighted football goals with easy lift wheels, fence fixed football goals, team shelters, Hockey goals and pitch dividers to boot scrapers, corner poles etc.

The head office is located in a purpose built unit near Beccles in Suffolk. The unit has space to stock and distribute a large range of products. All Administration is carried out from our head office.

The majority of the manufacturing and distribution is carried out at our Staffordshire factory. Being close to the M6 motorway we are ideally situated for ease of access to all major routes enabling efficient distribution throughout the UK. We have our own fleet of vehicles which enables us to delivery the majority of the longer products ourselves. Our delivery drivers carry mobile phones and are able to contact customers to arrange a timed delivery. The factory manufacture and stock a large range of our fast moving lines helping us to achieve a fast turn around on orders. As a leading manufacturer and supplier of football equipment we are proud of our continued involvement at the grassroots level of the game. We sponsor the Staffordshire County Youth Cup and the Birmingham County FA Sunday Youth Cup and the Birmingham County FA “kick discrimination out of football” campaign.

Mark Harrod also sponsors the IOG “Volunteer Groundsman of the year award” and are official supplier of goal posts and sponsors of “Grassroots Football Live Show” held at the NEC

We are also proud to sponsor Jonathan Gribbin, a blind futsal player who competed at the Beijing 2008 Paralympics as part of the British team.
