Snelling Technology Event 2009

Norwich based Snelling Business Systems will be demonstrating the very latest AV technology that has been installed in the iconic Forum in Norwich, Norfolk from the 1st-3rd April 2009.

The Forum is the landmark Millennium project for the East of England and is on the site of the former Central Library which was destroyed by fire in 1994.

This £65 million project was funded by a £31.5 million grant from the Millennium Commission and matching support from Norfolk County Council, Norwich City Council and the business community.

Having been opened to the public in November 2001, The Forum was officially opened by Her Majesty The Queen in July 2002 and now attracts approximately two million visitors per year.

Technologies such as Fusion, which is a stunning 24 meter wide ‘Digital Gallery’ for which a variety of partners including the BBC are providing content for. And the Curve which provides Norwich’s only Full High Definition presentation environment.

This cutting edge technology will show off the design, specification and installation capabilities of the Snelling Business Systems team.

The event is targeted at architects, facility managers, colleges, universities, hospitals etc. who are involved in the specifying and/or using the latest technology for use in educational, commercial, local government and retail environments.

In addition to being able to see the latest technology first hand, there will also be a series of information seminars presented by some of the leading manufactures based around the theme of “using technology and innovation to enhance business and organisation performance.”

Lowestoft web design company, Juiced Media are currently in the process of creating and updating an online registration and information website where users interested in the technology showcase can pre-register for the event as well as gain further information.
