Care2Work is a training and employment programme to assist older people who are / have been caring for others and who have been experiencing difficulties in securing suitable paid employment and is an innovatory response to overcoming ageism by tackling both the specific needs of the individual (through training and work experience placements) and the attitudes of would be employers. The project is managed by Wise Owls with connections to hundreds of employers, particularly those who have joined Age Positive and who recognise the benefits of employing older workers.

Care2Work is aimed at solving the twin problems in London of under employment for older workers (over 50s) and lack of suitable staff for businesses. All of the research we and others have carried out shows that ‘ageism’ continues to be a barrier to older workers getting the jobs their aptitude, experience, skills, work ethic and commitment deserve.

Juiced Media was approached by care2work to develop the company branding in the form of a new logo.
