Grandparent's Association

UK based national charity, the grandparents' association transferred their website management to Juiced Media in February 2009 to benefit from our low cost, reliable hosting services. The charity focus on helping grandparents' who care for their grandchildren when the parents cannot for various reasons and campaign for the rights of these grandparents' to give the children a better life.

Since the transfer, Juiced Media were also commissioned to redesign the site in March and then develop and incorporate an ecommerce solution into the site.

The site itself generates donations to the charity via an online payment gateway and also features an online shop selling publications and books relating to the charities aims. A 'solicitor list' is also available on the website which allows visitors of the site to source a specialist lawyer if needed.

Since the transfer, the grandparents' association has grown to a membership of 1000's and helped to promote the charity to the UK and shortly after the relaunch of the website, Gloria Hunniford has taken up supporting the charity and is actively campaigning on the grandparents' associations behalf and was featured on BBC 1 on the 1 show in May 2009.
